Tonight I saw a very mediocre version of this, one of my all-time favorite variations in the history of ballet—Raymonda (at her wedding). So now I am cleansing my palette by watching four of Paris Opera Ballet's etoiles from the Nureyev (i.e. 80's/90's) era, killing it. Noella Pontois actually bites the air. Not even Odile (black swan) is this fierce.
