Also, Instagram's hate boner for doodles is... concerning. People harassing rescue dog owners, "kick a doodle day", telling people to kill their doodle, telling people their vet hates them and wants them to kill their doodle, the "doodles don't deserve rescue bit", "exterminate doodles", threatening to kill people's dogs...

Are dog people okay? Seriously. Because that is some weird ass behavior.

After two months of working on an incredibly tedious scarf project, I decided to treat myself this morning and threw together a quick beanie! I'm going to Chicago later this week and need to bulk up against the cold. I wore this on a walk in mid 60s Fahrenheit and thought I would melt, so hopefully this will keep me sane in mid 30s! It looks super messy, but I'm a messy person, so it works out. My hair is like a nest when it's down so it almost works like two negatives making a positive -- two scragglies make a cohesive scraggle! I started off reading a pattern but it was far too small so I started improvising. You can probably notice the bulge where I decided to increase some more, but when it's on, it bunches up nicely! I used Bernat Baby Bundle in Lavender Nest and a size N crochet hook. The yarn is really neat! Not all parts of it are soft, but the splotchy purple/white bits are SUPER SOFT! Still working on opening CrowShea Crochet. This scarf project is really killing me, so I'm just focusing on finishing that before I get to making merchandise! Also this is probably the first time I ever used a filter, but it was really cute and I'm only human.

CAPIIII!! She's all shaved down because she was so matted in the shelter... T^T Now we have 2 beautiful blondes! Lewis and Capri Sun.

I thought Capi had light brown eyes, but my sisters pointed out that she has really tiny pupils in a larger, dark brown ring. Check out her beautiful central heterochromia!

Shout out to Hawkeye Pierce, the poodle mutt who reminded me my late poodle Socrates liked his ears twirled as a puppy. I'm pretty sure Socrates was from a German line at this point. Those stocky little guys ❤️.
