i got up to go take care of my ~dental hygiene~ like 15-20 mins ago, but before i got up my puppy was like ‘time to lay on top of beck’ so when i left it deeply disturbed her. she was upset.

when i came back she was still asleep in the same spot but had turned around to watch the door

well i was gonna grab my cup of water and head downstairs to get some more and maybe a snack, but i had to lean over her to snag my socks from the other side of the bed and she got upset and then

well she got up, started trembling and groaning and wouldn’t lay down or calm down and her poor arthritis was really bad and she kept wobbling and stumbling and trembling super hard

it took all this time to convince her to lay down on the heating pad and go back to sleep, and now i’mma have to wait like another 25 mins before i can head downstairs without her waking up and whining and barking at the door

i love my super high maintenance dog //sighs loudly

ALSO THOUGH my dog is ridiculous if my mom is upstairs but i’m downstairs she goes back and forth trying to convince one of us go to up or down stairs. it’s ridiculous i love it.

right now she’s sitting on the couch next to me looking pointedly in the direction of the stairs waiting for me to stand up, or my mom to come down.

i wish i had gotten a video of what just happened

i sneezed and scared misty again, and she woke up and got pissed

but the way her head flopped around and the way she’s glaring at me rn is fucking hilarious

my dog just looks so betrayed every fucking time i sneeze

i tried to warn her this time to no avail

she’s still shocked and pissed

and she turned around to glare at me and is hesitantly falling back asleep

most annoying thing is when my dog gets convinced that, despite my mom having left not too long ago, she’s back, and i’m just keeping her from her by locking her in my room with her own special spot on my bed

so she just WHINES. CONSTANTLY.

and no matter what i do she doesn’t believe that mom’s not here, she’s out shopping. so i have to kick her out of my room and then all she does is walk around whining and staring at doors waiting for my mom to appear.

and i guarantee that as soon as she ACTUALLY comes back, misty’s just like “I KNEW YOU WERE FUCKING HERE I FUCKING KNEW IT BECK WAS JUST LYING TO ME!!!”
