1. which TV show has the best musical soundtrack

UMBRELLA ACADEMYYYY. perfect needle drops and an excuse for gerard way to release new music lol. Legends of Tomorrow has a fun one too (and SPN ofc.) I also LOVE the scores for Euphoria & Game of Thrones and discovered a lot of songs through Vida, Orphan Black, Walking Dead, and This May Destroy You.

34. what are your top 5 shows right now?

some I've discovered the past year:

Wandavision (it's so creative and so sad and I love every character especially the dream team of Monica, Jimmy and Darcy)

Haunting of Bly Manor/Hill House (must-watch for all spn fans it's got family horror, ghostly tragedy, gays AND good writing)

Ted Lasso (whoever thought I would like a SPORTS SHOW wtf)

Given (lgbt rock band anime that's all about grief & healing & finding purpose again and it got to me okay)

Euphoria (became an all-time fave after two special episodes during quarantine, seems like a flashy teen drama but it has some of the most interesting exploration of mental health and family trauma I've ever seen)

honorary mention to She-Ra & The Good Place since I finished them the last year and still can't shut up about them ❤

23. A song that when you listen to it you’re transported to a liminal space, time is pointless and you must sit and wallow in the void that remains

AHGADASFJGHGHDGJ. luckily this happens to me at least three times a day, so here’s a few:

cells divide from the annihilation soundtrack (not the loud WAHWAH alien song tho that honestly could work too, just the ominous acoustic track that plays throughout the movie as the characters slowly go more insane <3)

bonus: study/work songs:

so I’m usually productive listening to something loud & energetic instead of “beats to relax to” because it keeps me focused (blame it on the adhd lol). this can range from dance remixes to angry rock/nu metal to, like, britney spears’ discography.

can SOMETIMES do ambiance with more uptempo soundtracks (exhibit a: Euphoria TV show ost) or video game scores (go-tos are Sims 1-2 building music, Starfox Adventures Dinosaur Planet, and the Legend of Zelda games.)
