Day 4: Pool Diving
Today Jen, my roommate, and I would start with diving lessons after having read three chapters and watched the corresponding videos for them. After selecting gear that fits us right, we set everything up and got ready to start diving. Most of the day consisted of practicing skills that you need in the water, such as: clearing you mask, getting water out of your second stage (the thing you breath from, also called regulator) and equalizing your ears. If you know how to do a task it is quite easy, and gets even easier over time. After a long day in the pool it feels very rewarding to be able to do all the tasks you have to and be able to answer questions about different situations.
Dinner was, as usual, rice with chicken and some vegetables. Lunch is almost always something in the same direction, but the most important part is that everything is delicious.
