Hi there, I absolutely love your response to that writing prompt about accidentally summoning a demon at lunch and was just wondering if I could have your permission to possibly adapt it into a short film? No certainties at this stage but it's such a fun little story, I'd love to have a play around with it!

Sure. That one was written with a rather broad stroke and has been added to and inspired a few adaptation requests already. Let me know if you do something interesting with it.

reason why: I just finally watched S1 and it’s great! I adore Kara, and I can’t wait to watch S2, especially because I know Tyler Hoechlin plays Superman in it :D I adore him. But I’ll probs just wait till the next season is on Netflix.

reason why: I was considering watching because everyone was talking and posting about it but then I saw that the writers are lesbiphobic and queerbaiting just for viewers? and that completely turned me off about it, honestly.

a reason why: wasn’t sure which to select because I have seen some of it but haven’t finished it because at the time I was watching with others. Will probably return to it someday and watch the rest of it.

I'm still reeling from watching the new Haven yesterday, it was so great! One thing that been niggling me tho, why would William hide the box of aether and not leave Mara any clues to find it? I dunno, maybe it's nothing, it just got me thinking...

Yeah, it really was a great premier! I can’t wait for Speak No Evil to air in two days! (Or it will be where I live, anyways.. ;D )

I’m going to say he hid it shortly before the scenes in the Lighthouse where they pushed him into the void. William most likely hid it without giving Mara clues because he wasn’t 100% sure that he would get Mara back. He knew he was getting close, but time was running out and he knew it. It got to the point where he actually addressed Audrey as a separate person and not just a shell encasing his beloved right before he got pushed through the door. (But not before he was able to pull Mara completely to the surface, of course.)

Also putting in the fact that the Aether is from the void, and therefore is of an otherworldy origin, God knows what would happen if some random human were to come across the box of Aether and pick it up. Mara explained the Aether can either put things together or pull them apart, so if someone were to pick it up tried using it without knowing anything about it.. it’d be potentially catastrophic. No, it would be catastrophic. We don’t even know if a human would be able to even use the Aether effectively or not. For all we know, humans can’t use it; who knows.

So William most likely hid it because of not being sure he’d get Mara back, and so that no human would find it. But we do know that Mara finds it, whether or not she does via William or if she finds it on her own is the question.

I honestly can't believe that bullshit from your professor, it's ridiculous! I think you should definitely report him, go to someone who's higher up, maybe a Head of Department or something. Tell them what he's done, maybe get others to verify if needed. But also say that you are in fear of your grades, and maybe ask to keep it anonymous. And I'd say kick up a stink if you have to, because if they dont take you seriously then there is something very wrong with the system there.

I've had several people here recommend that I go to the Assistant Dean and I might do that. We always get to give anonymous reports at the end of the year as well and I'm not holding back anything when I write mine. Its just not a very big class and I don't think even he would have trouble figuring out it was me who reported him.
