What kind of help does Archer get Gage? I am intrigued
Alright lemme just preface this by say: Archer is really good at overreacting, it’s not really something he can help but its true.
Anyway Archer had heard rumors of a glowing deathclaw somewhere around Lynn Woods and he had to check it out. There was no way he wasn’t going to check it out. He bribed charmed Gage into going with him, and started their little journey. He didn’t know the place they were headed was also full of raiders, how could he? Archer ends up at the top of the tower because he works best with a higher point of view, but at some point lost track of Gage. After all the raiders are dead Arch is like ‘fuck i lost track of the stinky man fuck fuck fuck’. When he eventually finds him, Gage is sitting in a little pool of blood holding his leg, and thats when Archer really loses it. “Fuck I’ve killed my only friend? He is basically dead thats too much blood how can he lose that much blood hes dead hes gonna die’ It doesn’t make the situation better, but that’s his brain for ya. Eventually once he’s got Gage on his shoulders and he’s actually on the move, he has one genius moment of ‘oh shit, i know where we are. I’ve sold a dog to these ghouls down here living at this pool maybe they can help.’ The slog wasn’t super far away from where they were, but after crossing the river Archer was exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. All he could manage when he got there was a pitiful ‘please help’. Wiseman recognized him, and agreed.
Turns out, after all that drama, all Gage needed was some stitches and a stimpak. Archer is just glad he’s okay, and Gage proceeds to threaten his life if he ever does some embarrassing ass shit like that to him ever again.
