[Older Chika] Once she's come too, and has cleaned up the tea she spilled, she's still completely red-faced as she faces Kaiden. Well, faces isn't quite the right word; she's turned in her direction but her eyes are firmly on her lap as if the pattern of her dress was the most interesting thing in her life. Was it obvious? Did she smell? She swore they were careful to keep that under wraps (heh).
"Ye-Yes! Yes, oh my god," she buries her face in her hands, more embarrassed to be caught than the act itself. "We're safe. So safe, ye..."
"OH MY GOD, PLEASE DON'T TELL MY DAD, KAIDEN! He can't know! I don't think he knows I kiss yet."
The wave of relief she felt was instantaneous. "I'm sorry, I know it's probably not my place to ask these questions." Kaiden muttered awkwardly shifting in her seat. Still fiddling with the necklace.
It's not like she was Chika's mother after all...
"I...I just knew you two were romantically involved and just wa-wanted to make sure." she added with a small hand wave. Looking at the younger woman. A gentle but nervous smile on her lips. "And I promise I won't mention or say a thing to Bandit. This can just be filed away as girl talk."
this little chat was going with her to her grave...she would make sure of that.
