Can a Location be a Muse? Riverdale Station and I.

When I First came across Riverdale Station it was the summer before my freshman year at North Hennepin Community College. My parents first heard of this place as a potential commute.
As we drove home, an image flashed into my mind. Jaclyn leaning against the post. While David and Roger sat on the edge of the bench.
December of that year, I returned to Riverdale Station to film my final project of Digital Video Production. Where an animated character would sit on the stone bench. The footage consisted of not only the bench but a train barreling down the tracks.
Flash forward to January of 2024, The year of the capstone class. I racked my brain to think of what this capstone project would be. And then something clicked. That image. That image of the Nighthawks at Riverdale Station.
