Micah looking a little different here🤨
Last Line Tag/Heads Up Seven Up
I was tagged by both @on-noon and @marinesocks for a last line tag/heads up seven up. Since I was tagged twice, I'll post seven lines from each of the last two WIPs I worked on and tag seven people to post their own last seven lines.
The last seven lines I wrote in my novel WIP "To Be Honest":
There's nothing left but to act quickly, with whatever's at his disposal. He can't ignore his instincts about that any longer, not when they just want to protect him. De-escalate the situation to a point where he can get some answers. From David. From the voice pretending to be David. From the owl, if necessary. From whatever is trying to drag him into its trap.
"Why are you doing this?" Micah's voice cracks as if he hasn't raised it to this volume for years -- and for all he knows, in this circular maze, maybe he hasn't -- but he can't help crying out for some kind of explanation.
The last seven (or so) lines from my novel WIP "A Place to Return":
Leo presses one hand against the journal and uses the other to slowly, patiently, gently tear each page from its binding. He leaves no shreds of paper on the notebook. No evidence of his surgical removal of these pages. Then, once they're fully separated, he folds them as neatly as he can. Edge over edge, until they're small and thin enough. Then he takes the books Owen has never mentioned to him, the ones he clearly never reads. Align page against page. Smooth out the wrinkles again. Seal them tight and return each book to a place where Owen won't think to look twice.
I'll tag @galaxy-writer, @calicojackofficial, @365runesofwriting, @midnights-melodiverse, @asher-orion-writes, @wildjuniperjones, @aohendo (if you don't mind being tagged again), & any other mutuals who see this post and want to make their own last line posts saying I tagged them!

Madeleine winced as she listened to this. It really bothered her how the Ninetales was hurting Micah as a way to channel her anger, and she could only imagine what she did now.
carra is such a pisstake 🤣
idk why but i always had some kind of bittersweet affection for micah.
guess i felt the sadness seeping through his cold moves and reactions... i truly feel for him, nobody deserves this sort of fate 💔
I know. It definitely explains a lot and why he is the way he is.
Herm: so name a time we can visit
Micah, probably:
Some times I just like to contemplate the stupid ways Ryu sits
