How Lucy is treating Skylar is endlessly amusing to me. Dating is a nightmare. And I love how she’s rightfully pissed at Kate for Kate’s shitty behavior, but is also lowkey being kinda shitty herself to her rebound attempt.

Skylar slowly looked up at Reno and wiped the jam from her eyes. Her expression was just full of unmatched hatred.

"Reno..." she warned quietly. It was all over her face, in her hair, and down her shirt. "Please get me a towel." Though it was a request, it sounded a bit more of a demand. Skylar had gotten home from work, set to relax and decompress...when she got a pie tin full of jam in the face.

Though she was angry, furious even, even she started to dissolve into soft laughter. Then loud laughter. Then absolute guffaws. What a situation to be in! At one point she reached down and scooped up a bit of jam and threw it back at him.
