He pushed open another door, glancing quickly around the room before his eyes landed on another child. He was slightly older than the girl he'd found but no less malnourished than she was. Something told him not to look, not to go closer, but he ignored it and approached the boy. He hoped that he was still alive, but from the silence in the room and the odd was his body looked like it had been thrown on the ground, he knew he wasn't. There wasn't any blood near his body, but the table was soaked in it. He stepped closer, flaring his eyes to see better in the dark. And he immediately wished that he hadn’t.
His chest was an open, gaping hole and his lungs had been torn out. Bile crawled up his throat, the sight far too familiar for him to stomach. Theo stumbled back, covering his mouth with a hand as he tried to fit back the growing urge to vomit. He made it to the doorway before he couldn’t keep it back anymore. The chimera doubled over as he threw up the meager amount of food that he’d had earlier. The bile burned his throat and tears clung his lashes. His stomach heaved until there was nothing left. He slowly stood up, wiping the last of the vomit from his mouth.

The photoshoot goes off without a hitch, but Liam keeps his distance. Even when he's laid out on the sheet again, he keeps his hands to himself and doesn't look at the other man. When it's over, Liam grabs his shirt and practically runs out the door. Before he's even out the building, he has Tinder pulled up on his phone. He swipes right on most of the girls as he pulls his shirt on again and walks home. When he's almost home, he finally gets a match. She's got a sporty look to her and she vaguely reminds him of a girlfriend he had in high school.
She messages him first, making it very clearly that she's only looking for a hook up and not anything serious. Which works out just fine for him, he just needs something to get his mind off of Theo. They exchange numbers and he texts Sabrina once he's in the safety of his own room.
