The thudding base of music can be felt outside of the club and it settles something inside of Liam. It doesn’t take very long for the three of them to get inside, though the bouncer does suspiciously eye Corey’s ID. Which is its own little piece of justice. It’s not that he doesn’t like the other man, but they didn’t get along with each other at the start and Liam can’t quite let go of it. He follows the two of them up a staircase before it opens up into a large room. The bar is nearly in the middle of the room, a dance floor off to the side with a DJ just above it, and a small arcade looking room to the other side.
“Oh…” Liam draws up short as he takes everything in. Mason loops an arm through his.
“It’s cool, isn’t it?” Liam nods.
“Yeah, just wasn’t what I was expecting.” They head over to the bar and order their drinks. Liam panics a little when the beautiful barista asks him what he wants and he ends up with a large bowl shaped cup.
“We’ll look around a bit before we go and dance?” Mason and Liam both nod in agreement as the three of them head over to the arcade area.
“Bet Corey can beat you at the hoops.” Liam glares over at his best friend.
“Not a fucking chance.” Mason arches a brow at him.
“Are you willing to bet on it?”
“Yeah, what do you have in mind?” Mason taps his fingers against his chin.
“Hm,” He pretends to be thinking about it before an almost evil look crosses his face. “If you lose then you have to tell me everything about Brett.” Liam rolls his eyes.
“If you win then we’ll do your laundry for the rest of the year.” Mason holds his hand out and Liam quickly grips it, shaking on the bet. Corey appears between them almost like a chameleon. He holds up a card to Liam with a sheepish smile.
