for some reason rn my brain is stuck conceptualizing "the universe" as not being endless, merely So Large That Its Largeness Is Unimaginable To Humans, But Does In Fact Have An End Point and that it's all contained within a set, specific space and that outside of it is a slightly larger space that actually kind of is infinite, but only in the manner that a mobius strip is, in that it doesnt have a wall at the end where you reach yet another large thing, it just continues back onto itself. so you have the universe, contained within a specific area, and if you got outside of the area and go in the exact same direction(straight forward, i guess, for lack of a better word) then eventually you will end up exactly where you started. and i cannot make my brain understand it any differently than that, so like. good morning
