Am I the only one who finds it deeply poetic that in Armored Core 6 Raven's are a symbol of resolve and free will, yet you spend most of the game shackled to the wills of others, unable to truly think for yourself, causing your stolen name to take the symbolism it has in the real world: misfortune, a theme reinforced by the unlucky number 13 found in the callsign that the Redguns give you. a theme that is then proven correct time and time again as anyone and everyone around you ends up either dying or suffering terribly if not both?

Honestly i love how much space Hellsing allows for OCs and stuff.

Oh the other hand, i also love the reason WHY it allows that space.

Like the fuck you mean the main (i assume) supernatural-fighting organisation in Great Britain functions only because they have that one enslaved vampire fucker and a battle grandpa. Are they even really sure that the vampire is 100% loyal and contained and not gonna turn back on them at literally any moment? What are they going to do if something happens to the vampire?

Imma remind you that Seras wasn't planned. There were just Walter and Alucard before her. With a bunch of (incompetent) soldiers. And that's it. What was Hellsing doing in those 20 years while Alucard was locked up in the basement? Was Walter just keeping the organisation afloat all on his own? Or is Integra just not training her soldiers properly because she's too used to relying on Alucard for everything since she was 13? And with Arthur that situation was better so he could afford to not use Alucard?

I totally get why Vatican thinks so little of Hellsing (aside from them just being catholics). That organisation is holding on by a thread and that thread is a vampire on a leash. So unserious.

Can we talk about how after Megan died, Walter was coping by doing work, and over the next few episodes, all Paige could do was bring up Megan Infront of him and force him into talking about her? This dude has spent over twenty years trying to save his sister, putting every ounce of effort he had, every penny and paycheck he earned into saving her, only for her to die in his arms, and she just expects him to get over it and start talking like normal. Bitch let him grieve. She'd rather feel good about herself than actually think of Walter as a human and consider his needs. She kept pressing him on the issue until he broke down and couldn't hold it anymore, then she goes in for the hug as if she actually cares about him. This entire arc was framed as wholesome character development, but in truth it's so fucked up.

Listening to a scared old man recounting his war stories and then being seen by “all those eyes” has me 🥺😭

Let me tell you thy tale of Walter. When Walter was born into the world immediately knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to sell, Sell, SELL! So when he was old enough he opened his first magic items shop called "Walter's Wizard Wants". He knew his shop was a scam and that he had a 50% of getting any magic items for his shop. Until on day some adventurers finally came in. At first he thought they would find nothing of use then leave. But then the human finally picked something up. A wand. The human asked to test it and Walter quickly found out that it was legit magic when a lightning bolt flew from the wand. He bought it along with some other items then left. Immediately Walter found a wizard to go through his things and tell him what was magic or not. He then found out he had quite the stock of magic items. After the wizard came he rebranded to "Walt's Wizarding World" and people came flocking from all over. Then something happened. While testing out a wand for his customer it killed the customer in the process! Not knowing what to do he quickly hid the body in the back shed along with a chest of treasure he found and his best stock of weaponry. Then one day those same adventures came back. They once again browsed around the shop for items. Then a man apart of the adventureers told walter that the wizard that told him about the magic was lying and that alot of the items were not magic at all. He believed that man and let the group buy everything and walk out again. Later that night while with his wife he heard a distinct "Meow" come from downstairs in his own house. He went to go check it out and was knocked unconscious. Not long later he wakes up being carried by something through the rooftops but when he trys to wriggle out of its grasp "CHOMP". And he perishes. His body is found the next morning mutilated.

Also his wife was slept with by the same man who told him the wizard lied and the guards think he committed a crime and a vigilante delt with him. Also his tresure and best weaponry were stolen from his shop so his family gets nothing from his will.
