Well...I got this in right under the buzzer. And even then...not really. But here we are! My “Scariest Character” idea isn’t necessarily a typical pick like Yami Marik, but I thought of how Yuto is a dork when it comes to Ruri, and this was born, and...yeah. It amuses me.
“Yuto.”
The fourteen-year-old jumped at the stern voice of his best friend. Without even turning around, Yuto could tell Shun’s ice-cold gaze was boring into the back of his skull. He knew that tone; he knew that look. They had just never been directed toward him before. Yuto slowly turned around as a sense of dread gripped his stomach. There was only one reason he could think that Shun would be acting this way toward him…
“I need to speak with you for a moment,” Shun grabbed the younger male by the shirt collar and gently threw him inside a deserted classroom and closed the door.
Yuto gulped as he turned to see Shun blocking the door like a bodyguard. The way Shun looked right now, Yuto wasn’t entirely sure he was going to leave this room alive.
“Is…something wrong?” queried Yuto with a nervous chuckle.
“Tell me straight, Yuto,” Shun spoke. “Is there something going on between you and my sister?”
Oh no.
“What!” Yuto jerked. “N-no! No! Why…why would you think something like that? There’s nothing. Not at all. That’s…that’s absurd. Why? Did she say something…?”
“No,” Shun’s gaze hardened. “Ruri hasn’t said anything, but I’ve heard rumors.”
“R-rumors? That’s ridiculous! Rumors are just what people create when they’re bored, Shun! You can’t believe them! That’s silly. You’re silly…” he waved him off as he continued to babble.
“Silly?” Shun raised an eyebrow.
Yuto offered a sheepish smile as sweat began to bead up on his brow.
“The two of you disappear together a lot,” the older male noted.
“N-no. No! Maybe…sometimes, but –”
“Try all the time, Yuto!”
“ – b-but…uh…um…Oh. Did you hear that? Was that…Allen calling for us? I guess we should head outside!”
“Allen doesn’t go to this branch of the school, Yuto! It’s the middle of a school day. You know damn well that he’s not here,” Shun roared.
Yuto’s eyes darted around for a moment as he attempted to think of something else.
“Then…it must have been…a teacher? Wow! Are you hot? I’m hot. It’s hot in here, Shun,” Yuto started using his shirt collar to fan himself.
“Is there a reason you’re trying to avoid my question, Yuto?”
“N-no! No!”
“You sound guilty.”
“G-guilty! W-why would I be guilty? I’m not guilty!”
“Yuto,” Shun warned.
“Ruri is your sister! I…I’d never do…anything…” Yuto trailed off as Shun continued to stare him down.
“I happen upon the two of you alone a lot, Yuto,” he spoke. “I never thought much of it until someone else mentioned it.”
“Me and Ruri are friends, too!” Yuto argued.
“Be that as it may. I want to hear it from you.”
“That Ruri and I are friends…?”
“No, Yuto,” Shun barked. “I want you to tell me the truth. Are you and my sister dating?”
“Dating...” Yuto turned bright red. “That’s…that’s such a strong word for it…”
“But that’s what it is?” Shun cracked his knuckles.
“N-no!” the younger male’s eyes widened. “We just…we just hang out! That’s all! That’s all we do! Don’t kill me! Please!”
“Well, then,” Shun grabbed Yuto’s shirt collar again and pulled him so their faces were mere inches apart. “Let me just say this to you, Yuto. If you do anything to hurt Ruri, anything at all, then you’d better be on the lookout. If while you’re just ‘hanging out’ with her, and you try anything, I will be waiting for you under your bed when you get home. If you ever make her cry, then just know that I will pummel you to a pulp and turn you into bird food for my raid raptors. Am I making myself perfectly clear, Yuto?”
“Crystal,” he gulped.
“Good,” Shun released him.
“I’d…I’d never purposely hurt Ruri.”
“I don’t care how you hurt her. You could accidentally step on her toe, and I’ll be lurking in the shadows.”
“Okay,” Yuto’s voice cracked.
“Good. I’m glad that’s settled. Now,” Shun’s demeanor softened, which only unnerved the younger male even more. “Ruri made lunch for us. I’m sure she’s wondering where we are.”
Yuto only nodded in response as he followed his friend through the halls of the school. Shun was acting nicer, but he knew better. Simmering just beneath the surface was a storm. Yuto had seen a few others incur Shun’s wrath before, so he knew his friend wasn’t just sending him empty threats. He wasn’t going to stop seeing Ruri in private; however, he knew they’d have to be extra careful from now on. After all, there was nothing scarier than Shun’s temper.

Okay, but actually, those set cards Yuto had his first turn, that was definitely just a bluff and Sawatari blowing them up was really the only reason that worked out for him.
Like wow, Yuto, you had some real bad draw luck there and you got real lucky that Sawatari is so cocky.
