It seriously irks me that people say that Kiara “homie hopped” through all three boys. Do we forget that both John B and Pope made the move FIRST. John B kissed her and then Pope put his arm around Kie when she was literally crying. She made her boundaries clear with John B and if I were Pope, after having her take my arm off of her, THAT WOULD’VE BEEN THE END RIGHT THERE! I would NOT have tried again but HE DID WHEN IT WAS CLEAR SHE DIDN’T LIKE IT TO BEGIN WITH! JJ has been the only person she has been able to make decisions with on her own time, nothing forced…just perfect. Quit calling my girl a hoe cause she is far from it.

The way the OBX fandom has a weird hate train on Kiara for not reason is why I’ll keep calling this fandom racist and misogynist.

Because how is valid for Pope to be an asshole to Kie after she rejected him on Season 1 but Kie isn’t valid for feeling confused about him during the crazy time they were experiencing. How is Kiara invalidated for saying she’s a pogue and will always be one because she’s rich but Sarah doesn’t get the same treatment. Sarah who’s family owned half the island and is richer than Kiara will ever be — Kie’s family did build their way up from pogues to kooks. AND Kiara was always defending the boys and would stand up to them even in front of the elite rich.

How is Kiara the one to blame for John B kissing her that one time. It’s not her fault they all wanted her and were making moves on her. She shut that down and it was never brought back again. Neither him or Kie care about that. How is Kiara still blamed for yelling murderer at ward. It was stupid but it was a reaction. Since then she has made it up for it and not even JJ and Pope held it against her. Why should you?

Saying Kiara gets "passed around" isn’t the take you think it is. Pope is the only one she actually dated and slept with once (if we can even count that dating). She shouldn’t be blamed for not loving him. She did try. It just didn’t work out.

Like, if you’re going to defend a characters wrongs and rights make sure to add Kiara into the equation, otherwise I’ll just think you’re a racist. How do you walk around simping for Rafe but hate on Kiara for breathing. How you’re out there defending Sarah cheating on John B (that’s my girl but it was wrong) but at the same time say Kie gets passed around.
