I had lunch with my friend Lu the other day and brought Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips to share.  I love them and we are both counting calories lately, so thought she might love them too.  She tried them and liked them as well.  She ate a few then proceeded to do something I never would have thought of...she broke a few up and topped her salad with them.  Yum!  What a great idea. I immediately copied her and loved my lunch. 

After this lunch I was lucky enough to get a sample pack of Smartfood Selects items to review from Bzzagent.com.  I was already a lover of these products but now I get to sample some flavors I hadn't yet picked up.  We received some awesome Buffalo Cheddar Popcorn, Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Popped Chips, and Feta Herb Hummus Popped Chips.  All delicious.  I have a special love for popcorn, so it was my favorite, but I love them all.  Previously I tried the Sour Cream and Onion Puffed Corn it is super awesome too, and easier to eat for me since I have braces.  Can't wait to get more.

My kids like all the products too.  My teens loved the Buffalo Cheddar popcorn the best.  I put some of the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus chips in my 6 year old's lunch.  She loved them!  Yay for low cal options for her snack time!  A great discovery since we are trying to cut calories at our house.  I feel like it's a snack I can keep around and say yes to.

There are 14 flavors/types of snacks in their line.  I can't wait to get my braces off and try the granola coated popcorn.  I bet those are yummy.  The Cinnamon Brown Sugar also sounds delicious!
