when chad invited you to one of his stupid costume parties again, you thought it would be like all of the others. booze filled, overcrowded, and countless men trying to throw themselves at you.

however, this was different.

not many people had gotten the party invite, only closer friends and people in his frat. so when you walked into the party clad in a cute ass clawdeen costume, you thought you’d see bunches of people. well color you surprised. you came in late and there still weren’t as much people as you expected. whatever. you had one goal anyway.

find chad.

after scanning the room, you find the area hes in and walk over to him, greeting him. “hey chad!” you look to your side and see another guy next to him, and you just give him a small wave.

“you made it!” he hugs her, setting a fire in ethan’s eyes. after you broke the hug, you noticed his eyes looked greener than ever. hey, your intuition was never off once, you thought to yourself-

“h-hey…” he shyly greets you, almost coming out as a whisper.

“chad, who’s this?” you tilt your head at him, having never seen much of him.

“oh, this is ethan. he’s one of my best friends, but he doesn’t really go to parties that much.” chad explains, rubbing the back of his neck.

“and why did he come to this one?”

ETHAN’S POV

well, to be honest. he didn’t do much in his free time besides stalk you. all it took was one mention of you by chad and he was stalking your instagram posts like a loser. he accidentally liked one and sweared he would kill himself the same day.

besides the point, his problem got worse. he turned from just stalking your frequent posts to stalking your normal routine.

snapping out of his trance, he speaks up.

“uh.. don’t know. i-it was a last minute decision.” he makes up an excuse on the spot, almost mentally facepalming himself for his tone.

“oh, cute.” you’d smile at him. did you just smile at him? gosh, your smile is so hot. wait- did you call him cute? no, that’s one of her catchphrases, i remember that one, he thinks to himself. he just gives a small smile back in response as if he’s not thinking about you in every which way possible.

“what’s your name? ooh yeah that fit you girl…”

“w-what’s your name?” ethan would ask, fiddling with his fingers and acting like he hasn’t heard it and fucked his hand to it countless times. your name would roll off your tongue, and it would off of his as well. it didn’t help his case that your name and face were surreal amounts of beautiful, if that even made sense.

“this is the first time i had a girl who’s looks set me on fire…”

truth be told, he felt insanely hot, and his awkwardness wasn’t helping his case either. scanning up and down your costume, he felt himself impossibly harden. this was gonna be a looonngg night.
