Nobleflower (Narcissa Black x Alice Longbottom) secret/forbidden love, so tragic, so so tragic, if you haven't read 'Alice, Look at Me' by Rollercoasterwords yet go do that immediately

Sydora (Sybill Trelawney x Pandora Lovegood) ravenclaw roommates, seers, loveable weirdos, they definitely match each other's freak

Quillkiller (Bellatrix Lestrange x Rita Skeeter) toxic, bit crazy, they love and hate one another, obsession, they scare me

Gilderat (Peter Pettigrew x Gilderoy Lockhart) if ykyk, Lockhart's cologne, this is so fucking hilarious to me yet I'm entirely serious when I say I love them

Andromeda Tonks x Ted Tonks (I know they're not rare but there's not much content focused on them and they have such a story)

Deamus (Seamus Finnigan x Dean Thomas) wolfstar 2nd generation, best friends to lovers, I have a fic rec masterlist of them

Parvati Patil x Lavender Brown, 2nd generation marylene, best friends to lovers, so much potential for these two if anyone has any fics please lmk!

I just love these ships so much, especially the wlw ones, they hold a special place in my heart <3.

I'm writing a wiseflower fic atm, it's early days yet but I have a few chapters posted and am hoping to post another this week! It's titled 'Falling (can't get back up)' by Cherrybomb08 on ao3. 🫶

It was one of those rare, golden spring afternoons when Minerva returned to Hogwarts. The sun spilled warmly over the hills, the lake shimmered brightly, and students lounged across the grounds, reveling in the brief escape from Scotland’s usual chill.

Poppy met her at the front steps, white sleeves rolled. Without preamble, she ushered her inside and down the corridor toward her office.

“I’m fine, Poppy,” Minerva said, already sounding exasperated. “The healers at St. Mungo’s cleared me. There’s no need to waste your time.”

“I’ll decide how I waste my time,” Poppy replied briskly. “Now sit. I want to review the potions regimen they sent over.”

Poppy busied herself with parchment and vials, but her hands weren’t quite steady. She had always hated sending students away—to St. Mungo’s, to specialists, to anyone else. It made her feel like she’d failed, like the limits of her magic were personal flaws.

But when Minerva was attacked—wanded not drawn, hit squarely in the chest by Ministry cowards—her helplessness became unbearable. Stunning spells at her age weren’t simple things. Poppy had spent weeks counting the hours, restocking her cabinets just to keep her hands from shaking, waiting for news. Waiting for this.

Minerva’s hand closed gently around her wrist, halting her movements.

Poppy looked up and found those familiar, steady eyes watching her. Sharp as ever. Kind, despite everything.

“I was worried about you,” Poppy admitted.

Minerva leaned in and kissed her, soft and certain. A whisper of thanks, of knowing, of coming home.

“I know,” she said, resting her hand over Poppy’s. “And I’m grateful.”

All my love, Ro **** Poppy Pomfrey is a Junior Nurse at St. Mungo's hospital: unfulfilled, underpaid, recently single and desperate for change. When she learns that the matron position at Hogwarts is opening up, she jumps at the opportunity - not taking into account the prospect of an awkward reunion with old friend and first crush Minerva McGonagall.

Minerva loves her job - not so much her love life. When Poppy returns to Hogwarts, she is reminded of the sudden and confusing end to their friendship, and is torn between holding a grudge and and appreciating the sudden change in her old friend's sense of style.
