listen here, far as i'm concerned you write logan and that job has been whisked away from the show staff. we all know he's an asshole, but you make him so much more than that. he's calculating, curious even and hilarious. honestly i hear him, i see him, when i read your writing. which is kind of a struggle because i can never decide if i loathe or am in love with the guy, but i DO know i love your portrayal and always will.

          Every day, for the past three days, it was the same bloody story.  Start off in the brothel, wait around the bar ALONE for her brothers to finish whatever deviant things they were getting into upstairs.  Clearly they weren’t going to entertain her as they promised they would, so today Rebekah took it upon herself to find a companion of her own.  “You there,”  she chose Clementine after a single glance around the room, setting her sights on the PRETTIEST girl just to spite her brothers.  “I’m in need of a good SCOTCH. Come sit with me and have a drink?”

♋ What drew you to this muse?

I’ve loved Dolores from the very beginning! All the hosts/robots in Westworld and their situation and potential appealed to me, but Dolores appealed more — she seems to be becoming sentient and possibly going to start the uprising in the first/second episodes and I loved it. 

But, as the episodes past and things changed, Maeve seems to be assuming that role — which doesn’t mean I like Dolores any less. Her storyline is one of my favorite parts regardless of how confusing it is, and each episode I like her more. The one moment I’ve decided to write her is kind of obvious (it’s why my url is what it is) —- it was when she decided she didn’t want the role chosen for her, that she wanted to decide how her story went. Dolores begun as a robot stuck in a loop, well behaved and nice and optimistic — unable to hurt anything. Then we saw her lie to the humans undetected, kill a living thing and shoot a whole lot of other hosts. I love her development; I love how complex she is, how there is so much we still need to learn about her. I can’t say more precisely than that what drew me to her, but yeah I simply fell in love with her character and her growth.

Kara has been though so much shit and heartache, and most people would have given up. She not only lost her parents but she lost her whole damn world, and yet she soldiers on. There’s just something special about that. 

☏ What is the most challenging aspect of playing this muse?

One of the most challenging parts of playing Kara is her inability to be the bad guy. She’s always the hero; it’s her nature, and it’s a very central part of her personality. I’ve thought about doing plots before where she doesn’t have that drive to save people, but it never feels right. That’s not Kara anymore. And with Red Kryptonite plots, Kara wants to control the world and be feared. She can be either extreme: the savior or the destroyer. There is no in-between with her.

oh man, it’s so hard to single this down to just one ship, but i highkey think karris and gavin guile from brent weeks’ lightbringer series need more love??? like, gavin went to war over karris okay maybe not completely over karris but still and when the war was over, they spent so many years just dancing around each other??? and then they finally get their happily ever after, gavin bares all his secrets to karris, and they get separated again bc brent weeks is evil

but literally whenever i see any posts about karris/gavin, it’s always just ship hate???? or about how gavin was better off with marissia, a slave who spied on him for the only person with more power than him. i just want to bask in the three chapters where they were happy tbh
