2016 for me was a recovery year. A year to just be. The year before had been crazy. Loosing myself to try and fix others, who didn’t actually want to be fixed. I had no idea who I was and felt no point in being here. 2016 gave me back myself. A new self that I’ve started liking. I did things I never thought I’d be able to do, like being back in a school, working my butt off just so I can chill out senior year (next year). This year I started trying to be nicer to myself, I’ve realized how important that is. So there wasn’t really a big thing that happened for me in 2016, but I rediscovered myself. And to me, that’s a pretty big deal.
