“Pursuit in Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 ” - For the love of collaboration and things we all hold dear and as part of the global pursuit, PoP had a chance to work with Malaysia 🇲🇾 based models, a stylist and a photographer and Singapore 🇸🇬 based photographers to create “Pursuit in Kuala Lumpur”; a team effort that draws attention to the art of Batik (a wax-resist dyeing technique originated in Indonesia 🇮🇩) complimented by the dramatic backdrop and the hustle-bustle of Kuala Lumpur’s Petaling Street Market. Pursuit in Kuala Lumpur aims to bring to light the sheer beauty of co-creation by embracing diversity and showcasing an art form (that dates back to 6th-7th century) influenced by Hindu-Buddhist, Islamic, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and European cultures alike. - Thank you to the team that was part of this project.
