Ah yes! Dib really is an incredible son, you’re definitely right. The only reason I cannot be so supportive to him is due to my heavy workload.

Favorite Male Character: Probably Dib, but it’s close between him and Zim since Zim is just so fun to watch.
Favorite Female Character: Gaz!
Least Favorite Character: Mortos.
Favorite Ship: Zadr was one of baby’s first ships so it’s got a special place deep down in my gutmeats.
Favorite Friendship: If I can’t say Zim and Dib being friends, Zim and Gir!
Favorite Quote: HOW COULD ANYONE CHOOSE THERE ARE SO MANY buuuut “Go home and shave your giant head of smell with your bad self!” because it just comes out of NOWHERE with ABSOLUTELY NO CONTEXT.
Worst Character Death (if any): Like fifty people probably died during hampstergeddon so maybe the lady who saw Ultrapeepi using the building as a toothpick
This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: Dib at the end of Room with a Moose.
Saddest Moment: P much all of Gaz Taster of Pork. Not really sad but just a waste.

top 5 fanfics of all time
In no particular order:
~He Is My Master: Sonic, Sonadow
I find it funny somebody is mad this is a slave/master fic bc A: if you read the summary and the first two chapters you know it’s an inversion of the trope and B: if you think Shadow can make Sonic do a damn thing he doesn’t want you’ve got another think coming.
Excellent plot, excellent characterization, excellent development. It’s a long one but it’s well worth it.
~by the skin of your teeth: Gravity Falls, gen
I had a hankering for 80′s stanbros when I was trawling through ao3 and holy DAMN did this deliver. AU where the fight goes differently and Stan stays with Ford, and the tension it causes. Great characterization, especially for Stan and Ford, really great dialouge (I love how Stan, Ford, and Mcgucket play off each other) and a treat to read, especially for fans of the Stan twins. The official summary puts it best.
“In which Ford's attempt to survive entirely on caffeine and paranoia suffers some pitfalls, and things happen differently in 1982.“
~Phantom of Truth: Danny Phantom, gen
This fic’s been passed around the phandom for ages but it’s definitely worth the hype. Danny is captured by the GIW, and the person assigned to figure out how he ticks? One Madeline Fenton. Done pretty much entirely from Maddie’s POV. This one takes you on a ride. The sequel just completed recently, and it’s also well worth a look, as it deals with the trauma Danny has after the experiments conducted.
~Portal Redirect: Skylanders/Invader Zim/original work, gen
Yeah, it’s yours, but it counts. Even if you just know one of the worlds this takes place in I highly recommend it. The dialouge and characterization is a blast, and I’m looking forward to where it goes.
~Raising Stakes: Gravity Falls, gen
80′s Stan is a vampire, and Ford is a paranoid asshat who doesn’t want to deal with him. Stan makes friends with Susan at the diner, runs afoul of the Society of the Blindeye, meets an old girlfriend, and really needs to get some sunglasses.
A cool thing about this one is that every chapter starts with a flashback to Stan learning about and dealing with being a vampire, and how his past led him to where he is.
The author of this one is one of my favorites (I read and loved her GF/Xmen crossover too even though I know jackshit about the xmen and loved it anyways) and every bit of this is exciting and fun. It’s only one chapter away from being completed and I’m on the edge of my seat for it!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
OKAY I CAN’T DO ALL BUT HERE’S A FEW
~As long as things are tagged and not completely morally reprehensible then there’s nothing wrong with exploring bad themes in fiction. Even really bad stuff, as long as it’s clearly shown the author knows it is bad stuff and the characters that do it are condemned within the work, is all right. Tagging is super useful, but people have been sort of ‘I personally do not like this so it is absolutely awful’ lately.
~I’ve never read a coffee shop au or high school au fic in my life. Maybe I just swung into fandom a bit late for it, or maybe it’s just not a thing my fandoms do. But yeah.
~People are using callouts way too much. Even if people did do relatively bad stuff, if they did it at age 15/16 and they’re 21 now and have apologized and changed, leave them the fuck alone. You’re just muddying the waters so when actual awful people get called out it won’t be taken seriously.
~I tend to like tumblr memes waaaay past when everyone else does.
~M/F ships are fine, idk why people are suddenly against them.
~Adults in fandoms are fine as long as they don’t get creepy with kids. I know seeing people in their late twenties and later in fandom was really cool for me as a teen- it let me know that I didn’t have to stop having fun once I got older.
~Having lgbt+ headcanons or shipping isn’t activism, in any way.
~Ace/aro people should be welcome in the lgbt+ community. Gatekeeping just tears us apart.
