SCENES FROM LOS ANGELES • MIKE EVANS DIRECTS NEW VIDEO FOR PORTALIGHTS TRACK 'LIKE A CREEP'
As London weather got a bit too cold, we shipped out to LA to shoot two videos for Manchester rock group Portalights. Using local actors, director Mike Evans constructed two simple video concepts taking advantage of the extraordinary setting. Like a Creep was released on the band’s Vevo. It mixes movie genre motifs with traditional music video performance sequences to create a dusty uncompromising slice of sunny California.
