bahahahaha, director yang lei loves three-body too damn much. he's leaving three-body easter eggs in his new drama, 玫瑰丛生/about love. but it's so reasonable because it's starring our three-body commander, wang ziwen.

i actually checked this drama out yesterday because of wang ziwen and yang lei, but it just wasn't my genre, so i had to drop it. BUT i saw some fellow three-body fans i follow on weibo talking about mike evans appearing in the show. but there was no screencaps, so i was so so so curious, and today, thankfully three-body community's weibo account actually posted this:

they are watching a horror movie, and yang lei just decided to cut in the scene where evans got sliced up during project guzheng in three-body (ep 29). you really make ye wenjie watch that LOL???

here's another easter egg:

the book she's reading is the three-body photo collection book edited and written by yang lei (and i own this book!). i'm pretty sure the book cover was edited in during post production because the first half of book has black pages which should be 100% visible from the side, but you don't see it here. and that book is HUGE comparing to the regular sized book here.

yang lei's true love is really three-body <3. now i know what to expect if he works with a three-body lead in the future again. i also feel like what yang lei needs is to work on a three-body project asap. hello, spinoff show is staring back at you! when are you guys going to start the filming this year???

Yo draw Sky like he’s about to go to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game

This one’s been a long time coming, and it helps that I finally got bit by the drawing bug again!

Been doing a lot of writing lately, but it’s fun to swing between the two, especially when I get to draw Sky wearing a Mike Evan’s jersey.

They’re Buccaneers! Next time, he’s gotta take Wind with him, instead of leaving him to watch Twi and Wild rip each others throats out over SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! on the Nintendo GameCube. Yes. That’s what they’re playing.

(Also, not modern-day Legend wearing a beanie being so correct to me that I couldn’t leave him in mini comic form and had to draw him out whoopsie poopsie)
