Darwin - 🇦🇺 Australia Darwin is the smallest, wettest and most northern of all Australian capitals. It is the largest city in the sparsely populated Northern Territory, and has a tropical savanna climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. During dry season, weather is gorgeous with lower humidity and rainfall, but during the wet season, humidity will get so extreme, you’ll be ready for that refreshing rainfall! Temperatures are relatively constant all year so you can pack your summer gear whenever you go! To me, Darwin is extremely underrated. It’s a beautiful city with so much to do, friendly locals and gorgeous national parks nearby. It might not be as big as some of Australia’s other cities, but you’ll have just as an amazing experience! Fun fact: Darwin is an incredible place to spot some salt water crocodiles, whether that’s in the local wildlife centres, or on an excursion in the national parks.
