Coaling Tower/Blue Water
Amtrak number 365, the Blue Water, is seen hustling toward Chicago, threading the legs of an ancient coaling tower of the Michigan Central/New York Central.
As stated in an earlier post, this tower is located along Highway 12 a couple of miles east of Michigan City, Indiana, along the Michigan Central/New York Central.

Me & my brother went to Bluewater (a pretty well known British shopping centre) yesterday.
We was supposed to be there for 30 minutes.
We stayed there for 3 hours instead lol.
Highlights from yesterday were me trying/having Japanese food for the first time, having a boba tea, then going to Waterstones (a British book shop) and HMV (an entertainment retailer shop, including everything from DVDs & Blu-rays, books, graphic novels, CDs & Vinyls, you name it, plus it was the first time I went to a HMV and ngl it was literally like going to friggin’ HEAVEN seeing all those DVDs and Music Vinyls & CDs on the shelves like YESSSSS!!!!!!)
Here are some pics I took that I personally found really interesting of note from both Waterstones & HMV respectively. (Obvs i didn’t actually buy them ofc, cuz money reasons lol)
Waterstones :
(Tbh, seeing the English Translated version of fucking “Mein Kampf” in Waterstones of all places was very weird but also very very funny to me lowkey 🤣😭😭. Like, WHAT THE HELL IS FUCKING MEIN KAMPF DOING SITTING IN WATERSTONES!?!?!? LMAO???!?!?) (also just to be on the safe side cuz this site is and can be very unpredictable lol, I had to cross out Adenoid Hynkel’s name lol and put in “The Evil Austrian Painter Guy” instead lol. Just incase)
HMV :
(Most of the pics taken were mostly cuz of me going “oh look! hyperfixation(s)/special interests go brrrrr” lol)

Plant of the Day
Sunday 10 March 2024
Here the new red foliage of Photinia × fraseri 'Red Robin' (Christmas berry) is creating a dramatic effect. This evergreen shrub or small tree will tolerate pruning and so can be planted to create a hedge and is ideal for an urban environment. Clusters of creamy-white flowers appear in spring if the plant is left unpruned.
