i’m assuming someone posted it on weheartit, the biggest culprit for art theft. 5 people have posted the same picspam in the pezberry tag today :/

They mention a lot of Toronto neighbourhoods though — Parkdale, Kensington, Scarborough (‘Scarberia’) — and when Sarah’s a cop they look at a map of Toronto. They started with a whole NYC vibe but I’m pretty sure it’s set here.

the thing is, i feel like if it was actually supposed to be there they'd just come out and say so? like, it was obviously never supposed to be new york, because in the first scene of the first damn episode when sarah's on that train platform there's announcements for trains to new york. but then there's the random nypd logos from the first episode that they replaced, not with toronto police logo but something that looks like it but doesn't actually say toronto. so the first episode is a mess, but nothing afterwards has been explicit, when you would think it would be given we're dealing with a bloody police department.

so yeah, obviously you can just go with toronto, but this show is so tight that i'm not sure they're being vague for no reason.
