Ahemeit Amduat: A (relatively) Quick Timeline
Ages 0 - 8: Chisisi, called Chi, was born the daughter of a hutt’s slave; she studied to be a dancer like her mother. The hutt kept her carefully safe, surprisingly educated, and sheltered - most likely due to her mysterious and dangerous father, of whom her mother never spoke and who had only been within the Hutt’s palace for two nights.
Ages 9 - 15: Gahiji Amduat - Darth Serapis - found his baseborn niece in a den of iniquity. He murdered the hutt who owned her and his entire retinue - including Chi’s mother, who refused to give her up. After reclaiming the last surviving blood heir to the Amduat line, he renamed her Ahemeit and began training her in ancient Amduat rituals and sith traditions.
Ages 16 - 21: Apprentice Ahemeit, Mei to her friends (okay, friend. singular.); she managed to survive Korriban and retain her compassion through a combination of intense training, functionality as a healer, and extreme nepotism (her uncle/master had reached the Dark Council by this point). After she passed her trials, Darth Serapis trained the young sith in the Amduat revivification ritual - a means by which many of her ancestors had cheated death.
Ages 22 - 32: Mei was named Lord Syncletica after providing instrumental aid and returning multiple stranded sith from behind enemy lines in a skirmish on Hoth. At the age of 23, she orchestrated Darth Serapis’ demise by unraveling his revivification ritual, causing him to die from wounds he had assumed would not be mortal. Snubbed by the Dark Council for not sufficiently living up to her dark legacy, Mei was forced to consolidate and defend her Master’s holdings without the respected title of Darth. At age 28, she dueled a fellow sith to acquire her hulking warrior apprentice, a fellow former slave named Reiner. After several years of floaty hearts and travel together (and a lot of romantic help from best friend Quirin Corvus), they eventually fell in love.
Ages 33 - 42: Unable to keep her lightside tendencies completely under wraps, Mei’s fellow sith began to turn against her. The Dark Council informed her apprentice that if he did not kill her, the council would have them both eliminated. Reiner hoped that if Mei killed him, it might solidify his Master’s place in the sith order; he attacked her, certain she would instantly strike him down. Instead, Mei allowed him to kill her - resurrecting later via the Amduat revivification ritual and making her escape to neutral space. For a decade, she traveled as a refugee medic, providing kolto and the occasional force healing to those caught in the path of the war.
Ages 42 - ??: After a decade of separation, her former apprentice discovered that Mei was alive, defected, sought her out, and together they found a quiet, neutral-aligned, agricultural world to weather out the rest of their lives. Mei became the doctor to the agricultural community, a much beloved figure for the colony. Reiner became the resident grump who shouted at people to get off their lawn. Eventually, at Mei’s encouragement, he branched out into Manly Furniture Building and Home Repair. They had two sons who, unfortunately, continued to have Amduat levels of luck.
