Record Performance at Paradip Port 🚢📈

Paradip Port continues to set new benchmarks in operational excellence. In December 2025, Kalinga International Coal Terminal Paradip Port Private Limited (KICTPPL) achieved its highest-ever monthly discharge of 1,106,928 Metric Tonnes (MT), along with a dispatch of 1,042,360 Metric Tonnes (MT) through 281 rakes.

This milestone reflects strong coordination, efficient infrastructure, and the collective efforts of all stakeholders in strengthening port-led logistics and trade.

Paradip International Cargo Terminal Sets a New Milestone

MV SSL THAMIRABARANI has handled 887 TEUs in a single coastal voyage on 5 December 2025, marking a strong achievement for coastal cargo movement.

Paradip Port creates history by achieving the fastest 100 MMT cargo throughput in a fiscal since its inception

Paradip Port has created history by reaching the fastest ever 100 MMT cargo throughput on 27 November. This is the ninth year in a row the port has crossed the 100 MMT mark, touching 100.15 MMT and recording 4.78% year-on-year growth. The milestone was achieved 12 days earlier than last fiscal, completed in just 241 days in FY 2025-26.

Despite market challenges, the port continues to set new benchmarks. Faster operations, system improvements and strong support from stakeholders have kept PPA ahead. Growth in coastal thermal coal, container cargo, gypsum and POL has further strengthened PPA’s position as a leading coastal shipping hub.

Chairman Shri P. L. Haranadh thanked Hon’ble Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal Ji for his guidance and appreciated the efforts of employees, user industries, stevedores, trade unions, PPP operators and government agencies.

With a firm focus on efficiency and growth, PPA is moving toward an all-time high this fiscal.

🚢 PICT Creates a New Record! ⚓

PICT has set a new benchmark in container handling — achieving an all-time high of 1,157 TEUs in a single voyage with MSC MAKOTO-II on 9th October 2025!

✨ This remarkable feat surpasses the previous record of 1,027 TEUs handled on MV MSC ELSA 3 on 3rd July 2024.
