I finished Season 2 of Pose, some thoughts.
I want trans men or gender non conforming people or both in House of Evangelista 2.0. They set up for Blanca having the two young kids at the end of season two. So why not Blanca seeing and having a trans guy join her house or gender conforming person.
I have conflicting feelings about Pray and Ricky. I like how they are caring for one other but the way they had Ricky written this season was messy. I feel like it going to end badly for the both of them.
I want to see Damon's French Ball house like the members come over to America and have French vs American Ball, that would be hype.
I don't know where they going to take Lulu's character next season, I wanted her and Candy to end up together prior to her death. But I want trans lesbian rep in Season 3, like child all the rep we are seeing are only like one of two type poc gay men and poc straight trans women. Maybe she discovers herself in community college with everything that happened to her with Candy. And becomes a top accountant.
Like please a little more flavor. 😫🙏🙏 I watch the doc Disclosure and the trans guy talked about Pose needing trans masc rep. So 👀👀.

The later part of season 2 hit me hard with everyone leaving her house.
Angel's arc was so good, can't wait to see her take on the German modeling scene.
Electra went from heartless to having a heart, loved her as MC. Maybe she becomes a MC in season 3 👀👀, doubt it though. Her taking down white people 🤣 classic.
Candy's deaths has gone down as one of the most upsetting tv character deaths for me and others, and that is great for cis ppl and white ppl to care about a black trans woman, maybe translate to real life action who knows.
Fredierica was the token white cis character of the season but was antagonist like the rest from season 1 but it was good to have conflict for Blanca's dream but I want her to have a store again or something else cause the nurse lady said you should not be near those chemicals.
TLDR: Good season but some characters felt forgotten in the writing in the second half like Ricky and Lulu also Damon to a lesser extent in my opinion. So 8/10. Felt like the writers did the condom thing to give those characters something narrative wise cause they were dragging. Liked the Act Up Protests this season wished for more though.
