Some of the effective ways to do positional trading is dependent on your trading style, including trend following, mean reversion, following seasonal tendencies.  It's important to identify a trading style that suits your risk appetite.

In Indian stock markets, there are very few retail participants who give emphasis to seasonality.

So, I thought, would cover some aspect of it. We start with understanding seasonality, it basically means that certain patterns or trends repeat during a specific time of the year, just like seasons. For a simple example, Monsoon season or summer season, have specific characteristics, therefore there are specific redundancies associated with financial market seasonalities too.

Now how to explore this further? How to study seasonality in markets.
