It’s raning, hard. A cup full of warm tea to keep me company while I look at Venice getting soaked before my eyes under this unstoppable rain. I would have many things to do, many reasons to be worried or sad about but all I can think about now is how many things have changed since not longer than one or two years ago. And they changed for the good. I look at the sketches of my dream comic character, portrait of the girl I always dreamt to be, and I slowly realized I became her. I somehow found my way to define myself more, to become what I wanted to be and even if I have still a long way to go to reach my dreams and aims, I’m pretty much satisfied. I’m slowly learning to give people space to come and go, not holding any grudge against them because this is how life is and we are ment to meet and part for some reasons we cannot understand and I stopped wondering why. I learned to stop believing that what people think or say of you is what you really are. I learned how to recognize who to trust and who not. I finally found the strenght to build a more stable life out of the internet even if I’m still thankful to the people I met here, all of them, despite how things went in the end. I found some really important people in real life too that are also helping me through this journey to discover my real self, who love  and understand me for what I really am. I finally found some space to take care of my passions and, despite some of the anxiety and panic has not completely faded away, I’m still working to become stronger and better as a person. I hope I could become what I really dream to be soon.

Till then I’ll keep on trying to mold my shape into a more positive one.

The daily Life of a Priest

Hello there! My name is Sister Ella, and I am going to tell you all about my daily routine and lifestyle (which is of a nun)

First of all, my alarm goes off at 6:00am to get ready to teach my students at the local high school which is quite near from where I live. I have my breakfast, have a shower and say a short prayer to start off another positive day! At 7:30am, I arrive at school and greet all of my colleagues and have a chat with them, as we have time until the first bell goes for the start of school. After that, I go up to my classroom to prepare for my students RE lesson. The children come in to the lesson at 9:15am, eager to learn about what I am going to teach them! When the school day is over, I spend about an hour marking books and preparing my next lesson. Usually I would have a school meeting with the teachers, which would be about 45-60 minutes. Then I would arrive back at home at around 5:30pm, to then gather with my friends of other parishes for a sociable evening meal. Before I go to bed, I say an evening prayer about the day I have had. At about 10:00pm, I set my alarm ready for tomorrow-another fantastic day.
