All this week I’m going to be looking at World Awareness Days! So ... Happy Positive Media Day!! Positivity (and negativity) are infectious! It might not feel like it but we have all at one point in time experienced a moment when someone’s constant moaning has wore us down until we want to commit murder! Or when someone’s laughter or song singing causes us to laugh or our toe to tap - no matter how sullen we might have been. The energy we put out into the Universe is a choice - it may not always feel so BUT it is and what with the onset of social media we now have a new means of influencing the world about us. News outlets - a long time ago - realised that bad news sells and since have pandered to people’s pessimism, fear and paranoia. They have omitted mentioning the “good news stories” which have become relegated to the three minute slot at the end of the broadcast or lost in the doom and gloom headlines of the paper. We MUST then redress the balance and try to use our social media platforms to spread hope and joy and love to counteract the darkness!
