“If you’re not doing anything wrong, then you shouldn’t mind showing me your phone,” Cas says coolly, his muscular arms keeping Sam pinned against the wall.  

“Let me go.” Sam’s tone is neutral. Frustration only feeds the beast. He learned that back in month one. Even then, even when Cas showered Sam with gifts, Cas was prone to anger and harsh words if Sam didn’t obey like a mindless animal.

Maybe if Sam had left then he wouldn’t be in such a mess.

Cas sinks his teeth into the sensitive flesh of Sam’s throat but, surprisingly, backs off when he’s finished marking Sam up. His property. “I liked you better before you started hanging out with Dean so damn much. I don’t think you should see him anymore.”

“He’s my brother. I’m not cutting him off, you can’t ask that of me.”

Losing Dean has never been a concern. Maybe it should have been but he thought Cas had understood and they were on the same page. And now Cas wants to take him away too?

“He’s not a good influence,” Cas bites out. He’s not screaming and that’s worse. “You haven’t been putting effort into our relationship for weeks now. It has to be his doing. He never liked me.”

It’s true.

“I can’t control what my brother thinks,” Sam points out. “But he has no impact on how I feel about you.”

Also true.

He loves the side of Cas that can be gentle and sweet. The side that holds Sam close after sex and happily fixes dinner when Sam’s had a rough day.  It’s the other side Sam doesn’t love - the paranoid and controlling side. It’s almost like Cas is two different people and they’re constantly at war with each other.

Sam runs out the door to meet up with his brother before Cas can reply, knowing full well he’ll pay the price for disobeying when he returns.

Possessive!Cas becoming very agitated with Dean's attitude towards women that flirt with him. So, to teach him a lesson, Cas marks up Dean with tons of hickeys, all up and down his neck, letting everyone that crosses Dean's path that he is taken.

Okay, but if Cas was jealous, he wouldn’t just half-ass it, but go full possessive bastard. Say, he and Dean are in a bar and that one bulky guy is getting a bit too friendly for his own good (and for Dean’s blood alcohol level) while Cas is ‘secretly’ interviewing one of the patrons. And when that guy actually dares to lay a hand on Dean’s shoulder and stroke down his arm and Dean simply lets him because he looks tipsy enough not to even notice, Cas snaps and shoots up in his seat, potential witness instantly forgotten, and fucking marches over there to stake his claim.

But not with a soft kiss and some variation of “Hey baby, who’s that guy you’re talking to?”, but more along the lines of throwing one possessive arm around Dean’s waist and pulling him all up against his own body, pressing his lips and teeth to the sweet spot on Dean’s neck that alwas makes him go cross-eyed and weak and using his free hand to go for the fucking goods, just shamelessly and inappropriately grabbing a nice and tight handful of Dean’s junk.

There may or may not be a growl somewhere in there, too.

And it’s only after Dean has let out his first soft moan and is growing hard under the pressure (and rough massage) -- because he can’t help but preen under Cas’ behaviour -- that Cas even so much as looks at the other guy, all disregard and with the arching of his eyebrow giving him an unspoken, yet no less impolite demand to fucking leave.

It doesn’t take more than a second for the guy to comply and scoot with raised hands, and for Dean to grind into Cas’ hand and press into his body and to beg ever so softly for them to please finally go back to the motel.

Following that incident, their pictures take the direction of Dean being painfully fully dressed, as a clear sign for anyone about who should be allowed to see his body and that anyone else can back off, though there are always little teases to be found, like hickeys and bruised lips and dazed, fucked-out smiles softening Dean’s gorgeous features.

Okay but dean would be so into marking though. Like it doesn't matter if it was Rhonda or Cas or Lisa or whoever-- he'd be begging for bite marks and hickies and bruises. Cas doesn't really get it at first, but with Dean so insistently pushing Cas's head just where he wants it and panting out "god, cas. Just make me /yours/." Well. Who could say no to that?

Yeah, but all those girls, whether it was Rhonda or Lisa or even Cassie, always hesitated to give Dean what he wanted, to claim him in this base way. Because they knew that Dean wasn’t one to be bound by anyone or anything and that any sign of possssion wouldn’t truly carry much meaning at all because Dean, like any other storm, would soon pass in one way or another, and they’d be by themselves again.

But Cas, Cas doesn’t even let as much as a beat pass after Dean quietly brings forth his plea and shows him what he is supposed to do. He immediately grabs Dean and pins hm to the mattress, where he continues to thoroughly and self-indulgently mark up every spot of his beautiful beloved’s body. And by the time he is done, Dean is nothing but a whimpering, trembling mess, skin littered with lovebites all over, from the back of his knees or the insides of his thighs all the way up to his neck. And he’s never been as happy, never felt as satisfied, and this feeling is an ongoing one because Cas always makes sure that his marks don’t fade, that his claim on Dean is visible all the time -- not just to other people, strangers and friends alike, but especially to Dean. Because the soft smile that always graces his features when he passes a mirror and catches any of those visible hints of Castiel’s adoration on his skin is something that is worth preserving.

"Were you flirting?" Castiel hisses, shoving Sam up against the motel room wall, lip curling and nose wrinkling. He has one fist aggressively curled around the collar of Sam’s shirt.

Sam’s jaw twitches, but he’s smiling - maliciously. “So what if  I was?” he responds casually, calmly, letting Cas pin him there. “What’re you gonna do about it, huh?”

Castiel growls, mouth at Sam’s ear. “I’m going to fuck you senseless until you have the fear of God inside you.”

Sam’s stomach flips wonderfully. “Yeah?” His abs tighten, cock rising in interest. “And how are you gonna do that?”

Cas and Dean have taken to falling asleep with Cas gently cupping Dean’s groin. Dean knows it’s some kind of primal, possessive gesture and that he should probably be weirded out by it, maybe tell Cas to fuck off, but he actually likes it. He likes how tender and natural Cas does it; just like he puts one hand over Dean’s chest to hold him close from behind, he puts his other between Dean’s legs, with only the barest of pressure. Cas has never asked to do it and Dean never told him not to. Because it feels good, it feels strangely— safe.
