ML finds himself coveted and relentlessly pursued by a possessive and jealous (yet most familiar) CEO hellbent on making him hers no matter what he says.
Probably the best role reversal toxic CEO drama I've seen to date. The commitment to the RR was incredible, with a genuinely possessive, jealous, and dominant as hell FL and a ML that wants nothing to do with her yet can't seem to leave her. Nice red-flag RR territory.
Synopsis: Song Ye had dreamed of the same woman countless times. On this day, he went to a class reunion with his girlfriend and saw a woman who was very similar to the one in his dream. Not only did she actively add him on WeChat, but she also sent him a message at the end of the party saying, "You have a nice figure. Next time, take off your clothes for me to see." Song Ye thought that she was just flirting with him on a whim, but it turned out to be a long-planned robbery. Later, he gradually fell under her step-by-step calculations. [MDL]

A young man with a fiancé and foggy memories finds himself inexplicably pursued by the domineering CEO who seems to know things about him that even he is not aware of.
This is THE toxic, possessive, domineering female CEO drama. If you want pretty much all the usual CEO romance reversals, this is the one. Unfortunately, it's a vertical so that won't be for everyone, but the drama's commitment is thorough and consistent!
(spoilers can be found)
FL is pretty much everything you could want from a toxic CEO: Filthy rich and unafraid to flaunt her wealth to get her way, unhinged levels of possessiveness (with yes, criminal activity involved... forced kissing, blackmail, stalking, etc...), a unique ability to always be where she needs to be to save her man and the physical prowess to achieve said rescuing, and endless bastard shit-eating charisma and flirtation skills.
Then there's ML who has vague amnesia at the start of the drama and is engaged to another wealthy heiress who's friends with FL. He's more traditional between the two, a principled, honourable man (wink wink) and spends at least half of the drama trying to dodge FL's advancements to less-than-ideal results. Despite this, to me he was fairly babygirl and was ultimately veryyy submissive for FL. I do wish they would've leaned a bit more into a reversed stereotype for him too, but they didn't.
The drama starts out with FL shamelessly making moves on ML in front of his girlfriend and then also in secret and it doesn't really stop that angle ever. FL is relentless in her pursuit of her object of desire and literally nothing gets in her way... even ML's fiance. In fact, she often seems to enjoy the fact that he's 'taken' and tries to flaunt the fact that she compromised her 'friend's man' and there's a SCRUMPTIOUS car scene of this 😩🙏
If you like forceful toxic women, forced kisses, forced proximity, endless manhandling, a FL that protects her man, a FL that is jealous and possessive... this is it. This is the drama.
Despite the overwhelming majority of the leads' interactions in the first half being very forceful (I mean, it's just SA... there's no beating around the bush about it), the circumstances are complicated because (spoiler) ML and FL knew each other in the past and had been together but he forget her due to amnesia. This plot point was glossed over and might've just been shoehorned in at the last minute to 'justify' FL's forceful nature, but yeah, there's this underlying theme of 'his body recognizes her where his mind doesn't and that's why he doesn't fight back as much'.
Overall, a DELIGHTFUL watch that I still think about frequently. Genuinely such amazing role reversal with really good chemistry between the leads and overall pretty decent quality for a vertical. The final arc was probably the most underwhelming.
A mistreated merman trying to find the truth about his mother is taken in and protected by the domineering government official, FL.
Another pretty solid low-budget role reversal miniseries with a dominant FL and a submissive ML, and the added bonus of ML being a merman! He even goes into merman heat, I'm not making this up. FL was quite domineering, and ML was adorably pouty.
