think i may make an tua oc based on the premise of wicked saints by emily a. duncan, where her power is communication with literal G O D S who grant her favor and powers, but like it’s fucking crazy cause some just came to her when she was a child and others she has to actively seek out. to connect to one or another she has to touch a physical charm or token that represents them and some gods don’t like being on the same appendage as others and will cause her bad reactions. and all offerings and askings of prayer have to be done just right and some require actual bargains or sacrifices. so she has to act as a sort of neutral set of scales to be sure that she doesn’t favor one too much over another and keep them all appeased. she’s going to have to be so rigid and regimented and dedicated to worship that she almost has no life of her own, and then the academy around THAT???? why do i like torturing my babies soooooo???? fc : lily cole
