We've seen Jungkook being possessive of Joon so i was wondering if he is also possessive over her? I think it would be interesting to read. I also think it'd be nice to see someone else flirt with her and see his reaction, i really think Jungkook is the scary one in their 'relationship'...
Oh he most definitely is possessive of Joon's (ex-)assistant. He just hasn't had the opportunity to showcase it yet.
In the past, before the kidnapping, Y/n didn't really tell them much about their personal life, in particular their love life. They, as you can see in the main fic, try and keep their relationship strictly professional which means no talks of things outside of work. So Namjoon and Jungkook wouldn't really know if Y/n had been going on dates or not. So no true reason for them to get jealous. And considering that no dates would turn up to work to see the assistant, they would never really know if Y/n was in a relationship with anyone.
It's honestly a miracle (for Namjoon and Jungkook) that Y/n wasn't in a relationship at the time of the kidnapping lol.
Tbh, the boys and Y/n don't meet outside of work and since Y/n is isolated from her coworkers on Namjoon's floor, it is unlikely that Y/n would even have many interactions with anyone for the boys to get jealous by.
But just to entertain the thought, let’s say one of the workers were to flirt with Y/n, the guys would definitely not be happy. They wouldn’t say things directly, like “no flirting in the office” or anything like that. They’d play things a bit more smooth.
If they saw someone hitting on Y/n, Namjoon would just call Y/n over, asking them to get a task done for them or call someone on their behalf/for confirming a meeting. Namjoon would just use any means possible to separate you from your coworker without rousing too much negative attention. But again, everyone in the office thinks that Namjoon and JK are in love with you, so they’d start connecting the dots pretty quick. They’d say things like: “did you notice how quickly Namjoon calls Y/n over when (flirt) is chatting them up?” The coworkers would catch Namjoon’s drift a lot sooner than Y/n would, as Y/n would continue to deny everything their colleagues were saying.
In Jungkook’s case. He just throws glares and doesn’t try to hide his disappointment (which definitely throws fuel into the fire that is the rumours that he’s in love with you too—and more so than joon). He can't really call on you to do tasks for him or anything like that, but he can still come up to you and start asking you about Namjoon. He'll ask you to get him in touch with Joonie (even if he knows exactly where Namjoon is/has just been speaking with him). He'll find some way to pull you away, shooting barely concealed glares over your shoulder. Glares that you would be oblivious to. He isn't all that great at hiding the way he feels around the other workers, but he does put on the best I'm-so-kind-and-innocent demeanour when you do turn back to him/when he gets your attention back. So he'd definitely have your coworkers scared, though you would really just be completely clueless about the whole thing.
