Life had been simple for Gawain. It had been routine, normal. It had been what his father, and his fathers father, and all of the kin before him to his ancestors had striven for when they made their pack. When things in the world they knew it, was simple.
Gawain had been an Alpha Pokemon as they called it. A taller and bigger specimen of his species. The how and the why this happened, even in birth was never sure or understood. But Gawain and his pack had known a simple fact. What was, simply was. There was no questioning it, so they never had.
Gawain had been just another part, another egg hatched by doting parents. One normal Eeveelution, and one very big Eeveelution. He had been raised with the pack, lived with the pack, and done as all should when being raised by some 40 odd Pokemon of various species. Played, spent time with, and even engaged in a cuddle pile or two. With him always getting swamped because he was a bigger kit.
Life had been grand. Until, well. It wasn’t. And it had been no fault of his own. He was bored. Like any youth, he was bored and he wanted to find his own way. Like any rambunctious kit growing into adulthood, he had wanted to be something more, something he could call his own, not just of the pack.
So, he had gone away, gone into the fields to explore and see. To find what he desired; An adventure of a lifetime.
And oh, did Gawain find such adventure. He had been caught. Blindsided by his own curiosity and a need for food. He had been caught by a human wearing strange clothing. Clothing that he had not seen before of the Diamond nor Pearl tribes.
What he had found himself involved with, was Team Galaxy. A group of adventurers, pioneers and daring due’s that challenged things bravely on! At least, that was the sense he had gotten in the months of stay with his Human.
His Human. A but a boy of brown hair, joyful eyes and a daring sense of adventure. Gawain had only been but one capture of many. He had been what the odd man with the white coat had described as a; “Very interesting specimen” or whatever that meant.
He just knew he had been exceptional. As he should be, as the future king of the forests of that region, he should be counted as exceptional!
Initially he was not supposed to have stayed, the human meant to let him go. But, this was so new! And this future King would not let himself be denied these new things! Absolutely not! So, Gawain had persisted, and he had stayed with this human that had captured him. It was his fault after all he was in this predicament, he should take care of it!
At least that had been the thought process back then. But then, things had changed. Gawain had gotten.. Attached. Attached to this human and his strange ways. To his Human. That was simply what he called him. His Human. Oh he heard them call the human by his name. But that would not do. Not now.
His human was his Human. And that was that. So on adventures he joined him. He helped where he could, and cleared what ways that needed clearing. Gawain even fancied himself as a prime role model for some of the Pokemon! Well, those that weren’t at least Alpha’s too.
Their Human though had treated them all well though, and with respect. He thought though that some of them had simply allowed themselves to be captured, because well. Their human was an odd sort.
He was brave, tenacious, and had guile. Though, at the time, he was no older then Gawain himself in many respects. That was until he had evolved into the Leafeon he was now!
That had been tricky, and had consisted of him grabbing his Human’s attention by well. Chewing on his hat! And biting at his leg! It had gotten his Human cursing and chasing! Good! He should follow his natural leader!
The chase had consisted of him going to the moss rock that every clan and pack knew of. It was one of the few places where Pokemon considered neutral ground for the sake of being able to evolve if necessary. There he had dragged his human by being a mean rascal. Well, mean for a good cause! And evolved in front of his Human.
He had wanted him there! It was important! It had been a decision that Gawain had long since decided he would do. He wanted to be a Leafeon, simple as that. Oh the scolding he had gotten. And the awe. It had been well worth it.
After that, Gawain had done his best to appear more regal, and more majestic. Helping his fellows where he could, like a good King should. Until. Well. Things came to an end. Like they all should.
His Human had completed all of his tasks. Done all that he had been asked for, even as daunting it had been for him.
And over time, Gawain had grown more and more in respect for his human. Grown closer as a good companion should.. Should he not? Though, there is one thing that had happened, that none had expected.
The moment it had happened, the words that his Human had once said came to mind; “You can’t put the genie into the bottle once its loose.”
It was an odd phrase. But then again, his Human was filled with odd phrases and odd things to say. He had gotten the idea that his human wasn’t exactly a local to their plane, as he had fallen from the sky. At least from what he’d heard.
He was drifting again in thought, wasn’t he? Well. He couldn’t be blamed. Because he had been on his own again. Now with his Humans tasks complete, there was a question what he would do now. And Gawain had those same questions. Maybe go back to the pack? He did not yet know.
Then, he had simply been gone from the plains again. Snatched up in something he had no explanation too. And found himself hurtling towards an unfamiliar forest.
He had barely time to scream as his wandering mind finally caught up.
Then he went to the world of black as he lost consciousness.
And it wasn’t until much later that he found out. He wasn’t in Hisui anymore. He was in a world where shining structures loomed, where strange metal birds that were not Pokemon flew over, and where humans, again in strange clothes appeared in. Confounded, the King had run to safety. Intent on finding his human and have him explain himself. But where the village had been, a bustling city now stood. That had been confusing and frightening, so he had gone to where the moss rock was. It was neutral ground, and he knew that if anything, he could find his pack again!
But. There was no moss rock. Instead there was this, rocky, solid road. It looked ugly. Black and with metal carriages that came and went. It was all so.. Confusing. There was no forest, at least not the forest he knew. No rock, no grounds he knew, nothing to find. Instead, he hurtled himself towards where he knew he’d find peace. The forest. Deep into the forest. To where his pack was. The land may have changed, but it still held its roots. He knew he was home because of how the land was still shaped. There were things you simply knew by instinct. And he knew he was still where he called home, yet..
Yet it wasn’t home. Was it? He knew this. And as he slowly went to where he knew he should find burrows and a hill full of Pokemon, playing and watching others go on their daily lives.. He found naught but shacks that the humans called home.
His home was long gone. And he did not know why. He knew only, that some genie had gotten loose out of its bottle. And he had no way to put it back, inside.

Dmitry woke, startled and painfully hard. He had once again relived the night of Gleb’s 22nd birthday, the night they shared their first kiss. Except this time, they didn’t stop at kissing. They stole away to the restroom, continued kissing and fondling each other until they both came.
Dmitry didn’t understand why he kept having this dream...he and Gleb were married now. There was no reason for him to have unresolved tension from that night because it had worked out for them in the best possible way!
“Gleb...” Dmitry whispered, shaking his husband awake. “Gleb...wake up...”

The creature looked over the female curiously and tilted his head, “While I do enjoy sexual exploration, I can see you’re quite intoxicated. Maybe you should sober up a bit and come back? I’d hate to take advantage of a beautiful mademoiselle such as yourself.”
“...does anyone have a spare hairtie, or clips I could borrow?” Amanda sighed, resigned to pushing this new hair out of her eyes, “My hair... it’s fighting me now, and I can’t even begin to braid it as long as it’s in my face like this!”
Daniel sat on his bed, gently stroking his eyepatch. He was thinking about what had happened that while ago. All David was doing was trying to help after those bastard anons ruined his hair. Now look at him, only with one eye just like Tabii. He sighed, hoping he'd never have an encounter like that again.
