Unwelcome tears marred Sasuke's carefully composed expression. Even in solitude, he refused to cry. He supposed there were times when the body couldn't be so easily controlled though. The transition to being behind Konoha walls again had been hard. He didn't belong. He didn't fit. How was it that after so many years, he still couldn't carve out a home for himself in this word? When his privacy was suddenly compromised, he quickly wiped his face and defensively insisted, "I'm not crying..."

The silver haired shinobi thought he might find the Uchiha here. It must have been hard being back after leaving Konoha for so long. “And I certainly didn’t see you crying.” Kakashi lied as he drew closer to the raven haired boy. He seemed so lost now, but he knew that he had been even more so before.
“I hear you’ve been having a rough time.” The hatake continued moving closer and placing a hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner. “How about be have lunch together? Sensei’s treat.” He offered, showing that despite everything Sasuke was still his student, that there was still a place for him.
