I wanted to try so hard to make this an actual scene, oh well. Essentially in this au ronin takes his shares of the tea house and just runs it as an honest business. He pretty much adopts all the kids by accident, but is unashamed that nya is his favorite kid. After March of the Oni and Chrystalized, the gang essentially live in the tea shop to destress and recover.
Ronin and dareth get married and they end up adopting baby Acronix, when they find out he was reversed by the time blades (wu was just flat out killed and reincarnated). Acronix is/was a trans man; so they weren’t sure if they should raise him as if he was still a boy, or a girl, or what.
After talking with the Ninja (who are all queer/trans) they decided to allow the baby to live separate from their past life; so they renamed them Daruma and decided to raise her as a girl until she decided on her own what her gender was gonna be (and they let her know that as often as possible). She and CJ are essentially raised as cousins.
Edit: Oh! I forgot! Ronin is Taiwanese and dareth is white American… he gives off such well meaning-but-accidentally racist/sexist-American dojo owner-kinda vibes
