I finally think I'm done with this jet lag business. Going to India, I got it out of my system quick, I think it was about a day. Coming back has been a lot tougher than I've expected. (But oh my god, it's so good to be home.)
Boston is still in India (for 2 more weeks too) and things have been surprisingly good. We had a good talk at the airport before I left and I also have a really hard time being mad at him, so everything was all good before I left (I may also have been a smidge over dramatic with my feelings too). He calls me in the morning to make sure I'm awake (which makes me laugh because at home, I always wake him up) and we've skyped a bit. I don't know how military wives do it. I don't even know how long distance relationships work. It's hard!! I hate having this bed to myself! And it's weird cooking for one again! A 10.5 hour time difference sucks! Distance is definitely making the heart grow fonder.
I ate sushi twice this weekend. And I have zero regrets about it.
I hope things pick up a bit at work. Last week, I pretty much did nothing and while it's nice to sit and browse Pinterest, it makes the days go so freaking slow.
CrossFit is going well, as you may have seen from my other posts. I was thinking about bumping it up to 5 times a week while I'm alone since I bought a monthly unlimited pass, but I think I'm going to stay at 4 days. I'm looking forward to tomorrow being a rest day. I'm sore as hell, but I'm proud of myself for getting right back in to it since getting home.
My brother found out today that he has strep and I drank out of his water yesterday. I wonder if I'll get sick.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to share some photos with you guys from my trip. I'll get them up eventually (unless you want to be my Facebook friend, then you can see them there.)
