Thoughts on, “Post Life” (Agents of Shield)

Not my fav, but still a decent episode.

1. Even though I totally saw it coming, I loved that the “seer” was Yo-Yo. It was very dramatic and made a ton of sense. I also really loved that they finally chopped off her forearms. It happened early on in the comics, for those who don’t know. 

2. Deke sacrificing himself was great. That was a decent arc for him. A heroes death is always great.

3. Coulson dying is a cool twist. And I really think he’ll die for good this time. It most likely has something to do with his death with Ghost Rider. But I do really hope that before he dies, he can at least say hi to the Avengers one more time. I don’t know how they’ll do it, but I need it to happen.

4. Simmons and Mack taking down the big bad was pretty solid. I was kinda hoping that he’d come back with them. Or at least someone would. So that like, them going to the future is the reason the world gets destroyed. Like a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts. 

5. I wasn’t a huge fan of how it ended. Because future Yo-Yo tells us that they all make it back in time. Plus we already know they do because this whole season has been about showing us that they’re stuck in a time loop. And besides, of course they make it back, its a TV show. But I also didn’t like that we saw Flint and Tess floating in space after everyone went back. They’ve already proved that this is the same universe and not some alternative dimension stuff. That’s the only way Fitz could have gotten there. And if we’re watching the time they finally fix the time loop, then as soon as the team goes back, Flint and Tess should cease to exist.

This season has been alright. Time travel stuff can get so tricky and they’ve been doing an ok job with it. This really comes down to how it’ll end and I still have faith that they call pull this off!

We're in Biloxi, MS (because why not)

Yesterday we saw an old guy chase another old guy with a hammer, like really pissed off. They were both slow though and even though it was obvious he was going after the guy no one did anything to stop him. We thought we were really about to see a murder right there in broad daylight.

Also, today we drove around a bit. I realize I have had dreams about this place. Like I dreamed about a few of the blocks about a year ago. He drove and I just say there internally freaking out!! The only thing really different was the real lighthouse was a treehouse in my dream. So I either l lived here in s former life or idj...
