I did always wonder if Randy speaking out is why Justin got such a lackluster ending he was one of the big three with Brian and Michael and his final scene being a fade out not even there at the final Babylon scene felt so insulting to him as a character I did read he was supposed to be at Babylon but Randy couldn't make it and even if that was true I think they could of done more justice to Justin as a character
Hey anon!
It could be if that's how they treated him whilst he was on the show. By the time it ended I think Randy was Done™️ he was ready to leave tbh. I'm sure I saw an interview where Peter said there was supposed to be a sixth season and I read between the lines that Randy had said he didn't wanna do anymore and Gale was like well if he goes I'll go. The plots weren't exactly great by the fifth season so yk just go out whilst the shows still loved.
But Justin's final scene being him fading out does annoy me sm because he as a character and Randy as an actor regardless of whatever happened deserved a proper ending. The show opens with Justin taking his first step onto Liberty Avenue so should've ended with him leaving Liberty Avenue in a more meaningful way. Even if Randy couldn't be there when they were actually filming it in real time they could've shot a scene of him either being dropped off at the airport by Brian and having a goodbye with him if he didn't have loads of time to film a full goodbye with everyone.
