3 things you associate with me?
i was TOTALLY thinking abt side show for tv and i think itd be a v strong choice because it carries a lot of important themes that everyone can take from and the plot isnt too crazy and the sets aren't outrageous and they could really play with the vaudeville scenes (live audience like w/ grease) and. the music is generally catchy and also beautiful and has an interesting premise even for ppl who don't know it so. i think it'd be strong, especially w/ its lack of appreciation during bway runs
@poeisnotstraight !!!!! i really wish tumblr did group messaging but alas. also -- yes, yes yes. and can you imagine all the diversity they could have in this show? and all the representation? this show is honestly so important and i’d love to see it done live. especially with the vaudeville scenes.

I have a LIST but for my short list: Pippin, Rent (Done as a fully live musical), SIDE SHOW, Spring Awakening Deaf West because wow it deserves it, also I think it would be awesome to get Matilda as a proshot!
we all know how much i LOVE pippin but i don’t know if it’d translate so well on live tv? i’d much rather get a pippin proshot (i mean we have the original proshot but ehhhhhh). @aropippin and i were talking about the possibilities of a pippin movie and we weren’t really that big of a fan just because pippin relies so heavily on breaking the fourth wall & the circus thing? but it’d be a very interesting concept. i would love to see rent done as a fully live musical, but at the same time we also have the movie and the hollywood bowl thing so i would be fine if that wasn’t the next one we got? but at the same time that’s why i could see it being done sooner! side show is one of my absolute FAVES and we all know this. i feel like it could be really well done on screen, esp. considering how it ends but ... -- @osnes, thoughts? and also re: sadw, i would kill for it but again, re: nudity/mature themes, not sure how that‘d work on live tv. andddd matilda would be incredible for a proshot!!
