Merlin took care of the body, and Eggsy was grateful for that. Of course if he had ask d Merlin instead of Harry, it would’ve been done also. So when Dean’s body was reported missing, there was enough evidence for the police to conclude that it was a pub brawl, and everyone knew Dean was that kind of guy.
But Eggsy didn’t factor in how devastated his mum was going to be. She had been crying for weeks, and she didn’t even want to leave the house. Perhaps she really did love him. And Eggsy just gone all tits up about it.
“Nah, she ain’t leaving.” Eggsy told Roxy through his comms as he paced his Kingsman issued house where his mum and Dais lived. Eggsy was always back and forth between his house and Harry’s. “Think I fucked up this time, Rox,” and it was clear that there were tears in his voice, even as Roxy tried to talk him out of that insane idea. “See you at the funeral, Egg, have to go.” And then she cut the feed.
With a very heavy and tired sigh, Eggsy walked over to his sister and picked her up in his arms, the little birthday girl. “Don’t worry, my flower girl, we’ll ‘ave a party for you.” But she was only 2, she didn’t understand any of this.
“Mum,” Eggsy asked as he knocked gently on her bedroom door. After there was no answer, he gently pushed the door open with Daisy on his hip. Michelle was sobbing on the bed, she looked like she was ready to go, all in black and tear stained face. “We’re ‘ere,” he soothed as he crossed the room in his grey bespoke suit and sat beside her as she rested her head on his shoulder and cried as Daisy patted her hair.
The funeral was long, and it was mostly all of Dean’s boys who glared at Eggsy the entire time, and the Kingsman. After the precession as the church filed out, he walked out to head over to Roxy and gave her a giant hug.
Eggsy was in his Kingsman attire for the funeral and he wasn’t grieving.
