hey, as an unfortunate fan of the shadow and bone universe, i gotta tell you that the show is Not worth it. like it butchered so much of the characters, especially since they had to insert six other characters into the already pretty packed grisha trilogy. just read the six of crows duology bc there you'll get the slowburn of a fucking lifetime and you'll lose your brain every time kaz and inej (the characters you reblogged) interact. i promise you the show is not worth it At All

TRUST ME! I've been made aware of the discrepancies so if/when I do get into the (TV) series, I've got a whole salt shaker at my disposal to sprinkle on it!!! I really want to read the books one day!!! I've heard nothing but good things about w...wesper?? and also Kaz and Inej. I'm looking forward to the day I have Braincells to spare for this endeavor!!!

Okay first off I'd like to kees you on the forehead for thinking I have Reasonably Sized Person Energy, but that would require a ladder that's currently out of my reach, so you get the mental image instead. Mwah 💋

julia! i love her so so so much! i think that it would’ve been so easy to give her like no agency at all and just have her be this total damsel in distress type of character because of losing michael, and instead, they did the exact opposite! juliia is so so so strong, i can’t even imagine what she’s been through and instead of letting it drag her down, she takes that pain and that grief and she turns it into something that fuels her. she’s kind to everyone and she goes out of her way to help others and people love her. you can see that with how quickly all of the guys warm up to her. with everything that they’ve been through i would assume they’re weary of a lot of people, but they all know right away that julia is a good person because she doesn’t judge people and she genuinely cares about them. that’s not to say that she’s perfect because she has her flaws, but she’s a character with a genuinely good heart and i love her so much.
