My favourite Drarry is 100% post war Drarry:
Harry spiralling with depression and anger + Draco grappling with guilt and regret.
Them coming back for 8th year— Draco realizing that he never actually hated Harry, and Harry learning to see the best in people.
Them dealing with their shit together in an entirely bittersweet way.

happy new year, everyone! what a year it’s been! i’ve loved drarry for a long time (about 5 years), but i didn’t really start drawing for them until may/june this year. i was in a pretty bad headspace back then, but i’ve since gotten help and been much better these days. being part of this community is one of the things that helped me get back on my feet. i really do love drawing hp, especially drarry, and getting to share that love with all of you means the world to me. i don’t want to get too personal or sappy so i’ll wrap it up with this: thank you so much to everyone in this community for turning my year around. you’re all so creative and inspiring, and i’m honored to be here with you. let’s look forward to an amazing 2020❤️
Hi do you do really picky recs? So a realistic setting epilogue where Ron and Hermione stay together but Ginny and Harry don't. Also mentions of Luna and Neville's post-Hogwarts life. Maybe the repercussions of the war and not knowing what they're doing with their lives..? (Some days I want to rip the epilogue out of my copy of DH bc I hate the immediate happily ever after) also I love your vibrant quirky personality :)

Summary: Draco Malfoy, wide-eyed and pale and in a decidedly ragged shirt, was crouched next to the pile of whatever the dragon had been eating. Harry threw himself to a halt and yelled, “Merlin, how many times do I have to save your life?”
Thoughts: There are innumerable aspects of this fic that I absolutely adored, but by far for me the highlight is the DRAGON. THERE’S A DRAGON. POST-WAR EXISTENTIAL ANGST AND A FUCKING DRAGON, PEOPLE. What’s not to love? Regarding your ask, you should note that basically all of the kids (mostly Gryffindors) living together at Grimmauld Place with Harry are very open with their relationships, and not only has Harry not really broken up with Ginny at the beginning of the fic, he has a few moments with some other characters as well. But IT’S ALL FOR THE PLOT AND THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT and the endgame is Harry/Draco and I really can not think of a better coming-of-age-after-the-war fic to recommend!
