Even as an adult, you can learn new things. Case in point:

Friend: What do you mean <<PN farmer rebelled>>?

Me: Pennsylvania? PN?

Friend: (Awe and indignation at the quality of my education)

Friend: You mean PA, right?

Me: No, PN. The postal code.

Friend: Astratanica, what is the postal code for Vermont?

Me: VN?

Friend: VT. California? (CA) Kentucky? (KY) Astratanica, how did you not know this? What podunk school did you go to where you don't know the postal codes?

Me: In my defense, the codes I knew were Texas, Washington, and the two word states. I made a very reasonable extrapolation!

Friend: (grumble grumble)

Me: One, that's PNW, and two, Pennsylvania is in there
